Main Street Parkville Association (MSPA) mission is to preserve, maintain, and promote the hometown charm of historic downtown Parkville.
The Main Street Parkville Association (MSPA) was formed to assist with revitalization efforts in historic downtown Parkville. With technical and resource support from the National Main Street Center, the program takes a self-help stance by coordinating volunteer-based efforts. Today, we are supported by both private and public sectors and are committed to preserving, maintaining and promoting the hometown charm of historic downtown Parkville.
Following the guidelines establishing by the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s National Main Street Center, Main Street Parkville Association focuses on:
- Preserving and maintaining Parkville’s historic downtown, including beautification initiatives
- Promoting the economic development of downtown
- Promoting and supporting the small businesses located in
MSPA is governed by a volunteer Steering Committee. Leadership of the Steering Committee includes the volunteer Chair and the volunteer Program Manager. Several subcommittees are organized to address specific issues, i.e., beautification efforts, marketing, festivals.
Membership is open to any person interested in supporting the purposes of MSPA. Membership is primarily composed of downtown business and property owners. We hold monthly meetings of our members for direction and oversight of our activities.
