The Board of Directors consists of 13 members, representing various interested groups, including the City of Parkville, Parkville Chamber of Commerce, Park University, and representatives from the leadership of the three components, as well as at-large members.
Purpose of PCDC
Furthering the economic development of the area within the boundaries of the city limits of Parkville, Missouri, including preserving the city’s historic structures and records, promoting the economic development of the business area, particularly the downtown, assisting small businesses to bring customers to the city, plan and carry out community activities, celebrations.

Volunteer committee hosts annual JazzFest with juried art show.
Christmas on the River Committee
Volunteer committee host’s three events. Taste of Parkville and Gallery of Trees
are fundraisers to underwrite the costs for the Christmas on the River
