Cruise Night For the past 24 years NPG Newspaper readers have participated and voted in their annual Best of the Northland Contest. Each year readers vote in 140+ categories or themes, selecting what they believe to be the Best in the Northland. This year Main Street Parkville Association Cruise Nights has been honored by their readers in the category - Best Northland Car Show. This was selected by the readers in paper and online voting this past April and May. Congratulations Parkville Cruise Night attendees, committee members and volunteers!

Parkville Cruise Nights are held the first Saturday of each month with the exception of July, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Historic Downtown Parkville Farmers Market and City parking lots.

The Parkville Farmers' Market is a friendly grower verified market located at English Landing Park in Downtown Parkville. You can support your local Missouri farmers and take home healthy assorted fruits and vegetables, meats, farm fresh eggs, local honey & honey by-products, jams and jellies, homemade baked breads & sweet treats, plants and cut flowers, herbs, and mushrooms.

The Parkville Turkey Trail Trot started in 1989 with only 7 entrants. In 2012, the 25th year, there were more than 2,400 entrants. The Parkville Turkey Trail Trot exists to promote a family friendly health and fitness event.All proceeds go to support English Landing Park, Parkville Nature Sanctuary, and Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter.
