Parkville Turkey Trot
See you Thanksgiving morning - Start time 9:00 am
The Annual Parkville Turkey Trot Trail takes place on a beautiful and flat course along the Missouri River in English Landing Park. Sign up options include a 5K or 2-mile walk.
All proceeds go to support English Landing Park, the Parkville Nature Sanctuary, and the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter.

Small Business Saturday
Join us in historic downtown Parkville on Saturday, November 29th to celebrate Small Business Saturday!
Come shop local, enjoy sips, and specials, and support or local small businesses.
Main Street Parkville will once again host the popular Small Business Saturday Passport Event.
Shoppers will collect stamps in their passport by making minimum purchases at participating businesses. 4 stamps = a $10 gift card, redeemable at the Main Street Passport Tent. 8 stamps = a special Parkville giveaway.

Spooky Sip, Shop, & Stroll
Get ready for a spooktacular night in Downtown Parkville!
Join us on Thursday, October 23, from afternoon into the evening, for a Halloween celebration just for grownups. More than 20 participating businesses will be offering festive fun — from food and drink specials to themed activities, treats, and other delightful surprises. A highlight of the night will be a Costume Contest at 7:00 PM at Pocket Park on Main Street! The costume categories are: Best Representation of Parkville; Your Favorite Spooky Movie Character; and the Grownup Version of Your Favorite Childhood Halloween costume. Three lucky winners will receive fun prize packages.
Costumes encouraged for extra fun and flair!
Parkville Days
The annual Parkville Days festival celebrates our charming historic town and features a variety of family-friendly entertainment.
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy live music along the Missouri River and on Main Street. There will be family fun throughout the weekend, including the Evans Midland Empire Carnival, starting Friday at 6 pm. Browse arts & crafts, retail, food, and specialty vendors. Take a helicopter ride over Parkville and the Missouri River. Participating downtown shops will host their "end-of-summer" promos and specials...and much more!

Pancake Breakfast-The American Legion will host their annual pancake breakfast, starting at 7:30 am.
Family Sports Fest on Saturday, 11am-2pm in English Landing Park, hosted by the Platte County Sports Commission, featuring autographs with KC Mascots (Sluggerrr, KC Wolf, Blue, and Mac the Maverick), and Contests, Prizes, Raffles, and Giveaways!

Join us for a full day of patriotic fun at the annual 4th of July Celebration in downtown Parkville!
Pancake Breakfast
Start your morning with the traditional pancake breakfast hosted by the American Legion Parkville #318. 7:30–11:00 AM.
Community Parade
Line the streets for our beloved Independence Day parade at 10:00 AM, featuring local groups, small businesses, floats, and plenty of red, white, and blue! The parade grandstand is at 1st & Main Street with Independence Day trivia & giveaways starting at 10:00 AM.
Shop, Dine, & Family Fun
Stick around after the parade for shopping and dining and support our local small businesses. Several businesses are hosting a Red, White & Booze Sip & Shop. All of our restaurants will be OPEN ALL DAY for dine-in or carry-out.
Immediately after the parade, join in the free family fun with a bounce house and arts & crafts activities, hosted by RiverPark Church, located at the baseball field south of the city parking lot. Our local School of Rock band will also perform immediately after the parade!
Parkville Mini Golf will be open all day!
Starting at 6:00 PM, a few festival vendors will open, located in the city parking lot. At 7:00 PM the Platte County Sports Commission will be your host for music, games, and fun - including patriotic karaoke, corn hole, heads & tails, and more, located at the baseball field south of the city parking lot. We’ll also have face painting and balloon art for the kids.
Parkville Symphonic Band Independence Day Concert
The concert starts at 7:30 PM, featuring patriotic and Americana selections, at the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel, Park University campus.
Falcon Skydiving Exhibition
Don’t miss the patriotic Skydiving Show at approx. 8:45 PM, performed by Falcon Skydiving, soaring above English Landing Park & Main Street.
Fireworks Spectacular
Cap off the day with Parkville’s spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 PM over the Missouri River at the end of Main Street!
Shuttle Service – Free shuttle service to Downtown Parkville runs from 6:00–11:00 PM with pick-up and drop-off at South Platte YMCA.
Bring your lawn chairs, family, and festive spirit! The best views for the show are at the baseball field (south of the City Parking Lot), Main Street, or English Landing Park.

Parkville Microbrew Fest
Hosted by Main Street Parkville Association an operating division of Parkville Community Development Corporation – 501©3. Main Street Parkville Association (MSPA) is a volunteer, membership organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Historic Downtown Parkville. MSPA was originally formed to assist with revitalization efforts in Historic Downtown Parkville following the 1993 flood. The first Parkville Microbrew Fest was April 2004. The festival is MSPA biggest fundraiser and funds the annual July 4 Celebration, Christmas on the River and other community events and festivals.
